How is your program different from all the other eating disorder programs?

Moonpointe: A Focus Center for Eating Disorders is unique for a number of different reasons:
  • We are the only intensive outpatient program in the country with Dr. Anita Johnston as a clinical consultant, and the only program to integrate her new material into our eating disorder treatment.
  • We are also a holistic program, which means our therapeutic modalities are based on healing mind, body and spirit and not just "stopping" the eating disorder behaviors.
  • Our Center is a place of hope. We dwell on the solution.
  • We are a very small program and are able to provide individual treatment planning. This allows us to provide excellent case management and no patient ever "gets lost".

What can I expect after treatment?

At Moonpointe: A Focus Center for Eating Disorders, we begin planning your post-treatment as soon as a patient enters our program. We believe this is a critical element in treatment and each patient will leave our program with a detailed relapse prevention plan and a treatment team in place. The hard work often begins after a patient leaves our program and we are prepared to help each individual in any way we can during that transition. [Top]
